'Linx-IR' Discrete IR System
The Resi-Linx 'Linx-IR' is a patented stand-alone Discrete Infrared (IR) System using UTP (Cat5/Cat6) cable. The system relays IR signals from multiple rooms/zones back to multiple AV devices at a central location. The 'Linx-IR' patented design allows you (at each target) to simply select the emitter output you wish to control from that zone. This feature enables independent control of two of the same device from different rooms.

This versatile hub can stand alone or be mounted in a structured cabling enclosure, allowing for simple termination via RJ45 and/or IDC punchdown terminals.
Easily Expand Your 'Linx-IR' Discrete IR System
Using a star-wired configuration, the RLIR170 allows you to have up to 7 IR Targets connected for wireless remote control in up to 7 seven rooms with a range of up to 60 metres! Connection between the modules is established via RJ45 Ethernet network cables.
Please NoteThis product is not a complete IR System. This is the IR Distribution Hub RLIR170 only. You will need additional parts to form a complete system, depending on your desired configuration, as below.
For single room (loop wiring) configurations, you will need:
- 1 x RLIR305 (IR Distribution Module)
- 1 x RLIR505 (IR target and junction box)
- 1 x A1141 (IR emitter) per device you wish to control
For multi room (star wiring) configurations, you will need:
- 1 x RLIR305 (IR Distribution Module)
- 1 x RLIR505 (IR target and junction box) per room/zone
- 1 x RLIR170 (IR Distribution Hub)
- 1 x A1141 (IR emitter) per device you wish to control
Plasma Friendly!
There are many cheap versions of products similar to this. Many of these have issues with interference caused by plasma screens, direct sunlight and/or fluorescent tube lighting. This product is guaranteed to reject this interference, so you can get an accurate IR signal transmission.
FOXTEL Approved!
Many of the cheaper versions can also have compatibiliy issues with Foxtel devices. Only Resi-Linx products are guaranteed to work with Foxtel!

Bluetooth?
