Vincent SV-200 Hybrid Integrated Amplifier Black
The SV-200 is a remote-controlled stereo integrated amplifier that combines the best features of tube and solid-state amplification.
Modeled after the SV-237MK and the SV-700, the SV-200 is an amp that sports technology and processing ability far greater than its compact size and price tag hints at.
With both analog and digital inputs, this is a high-end integrated amplifier that is as versatile as it is powerful.
Compact in all but sound quality.
The SV-200 is the little brother to the SV-237MK and the SV-700 integrated amplifiers. Despite the compact construction, high dynamics and low noise stand out when listening to this amplifier. With two 6N1 tubes in the processing chain, your music comes to life with warm richness.
Key Features:
• Hybrid tube & solid-state amplification
• 25W power output per speaker
• Class AB operation
• Two 6N1 tubes deliver a classic warm sound
• High dynamic-range and low noise
• Analog & digital inputs
• High-quality speaker binding posts

Tried & Tested Technology
As with the SV-700, Vincent opted for a design based on the SRPP principle (Shunt Regulated Push-Pull). This provides high dynamics and a low noise level for a true high-fidelity listening experience.
In the input stage, Toshiba's FET transistors, which take over the preamplification of the signal, work in combination with two 6N1 vacuum tubes, which play a leading role in shaping the sound.
The Best of Both Worlds
The characteristics of valve amplifiers have been known for a long time. Their sound has supporters in every realm of music production and enjoyment. Although transistors are much more robust and durable as amplifier components, valve technology very much still has a part to play in hi-fi devices.
Vacuum tubes deliver the classic “tube sound,” whereas solid-state circuitry in the output stage provides enough power to drive even the most demanding and power-hungry speakers. The tonal characteristic is both airy and dynamic. The hybrid design offers its own special charm using tubes to add warmth to the sound.
The concept of having the best of both transistors and tubes is proven true by the units from Vincent's tubeLine range. It is Vincent's belief that implementing valve amplification in at least one part of the system is hugely beneficial to the sound experience. Powerful, but with elegance, the SV-200 delivers rich tones that pull the listener into the music. To see the 6N1 tubes in action, cast your eye to the port on the front of the unit. The interior can be lit with a warm light, and dimmed via a switch on the back if you choose.
The Perfect Match for the CD-200 Hybrid CD Player
The SV-200 was designed to perfectly match the CD-200 hybrid CD player. Both units feature two 6N1 tubes to enhance the musicality of their audio, and both units are the same compact size. Place them side by side or stacked in tower formation, the CD-200 and SV-200 are perfect for smaller systems that are a little more discreet.

Power
In the power supply, a toroidal transformer with a total capacity of 13600 µF provides sufficient power to the amplifier. This keeps the signal constant and unwanted noise down, allowing you to hear all the subtle dynamics of your music without being disturbed by a noisy power supply.
The final gain stage in the output section is taken over by four additional Toshiba transistors operating in efficient Class AB mode.
Plenty of Connection & Tone Options
For connecting various sources, the SV-200 features two analog stereo RCA inputs and two digital inputs (1 x optical, 1 x coaxial). This array of inputs allows the connection of a diverse range of sources, both digital and analogue.
For connecting a recording device and an active subwoofer, a Rec output and a Pre-output are available. With the Pre-output, a power amplifier can be connected, allowing you to use the SV-200 purely as a stereo pre-amplifier. In typical Vincent fashion, the choice is yours.
