Optical Toslink
Toslink optical cables, also known as fiber-optic or digital optical audio cables, convert electric audio signals into light waves, as an alternative to HDMI cables or coaxial digital connections. These cables are optimised for multi-channel surround sound or stereo inputs, and prove more reliable over greater lengths. This makes them perfect for professional home cinema setups utilising stereo sound. Optical connections are not preferred for high definition mono sound; an HDMI cable may be better suited for those applications. Signal strength over length depends on cable materials; we offer lengths ranging from 75 cm up to 30 metres. Connections to 3.5 mm and S-video are also available.
