This adaptor is ideal for connecting Computers/Laptops to an external display such as a TV, LCD Monitor or Projector. Some recent models of Computers/Laptops might only feature a Display Port for sending its AV signals to external displays. This feature can be a nuisance as some TVs and LCD monitors will only feature HDMI and RCA inputs for recieving AV signals. This adapter offers a simple solution to that problem by allowing you to run AV signals from your Computer's/Laptop's Display Port straight through to a HDMI input on your external display.

Please note: this cable is directional and is designed to convert from a Display Port output to an HDMI input only.
