This is a genuine JVC lamp that is designed for select JVC projectors.
Beware of non-genuine lamps that are available online. Non-genuine lamps are made by taking shortcuts and contain oddities that result in a poorer quality lamp, and in turn, a poor-quality image. As well as affecting the performance of your projector, installing a non-genuine lamp could lower the life expectancy of your projector and possibly void the projector warranty.
