With a cast of stars, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is the second film in this successful Marvel franchise. Returning are favourites Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.

Other supporting characters are also reprised including Don Cheadle as War Machine, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jumpstarts a dormant peacekeeping program using the self-aware, self-teaching artificial intelligence unit “Ultron”. Things go wrong as Ultron decides that humans are the enemy, forcing Iron Man, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) together with the rest of the Avengers to reassemble in the hope of defeating Ultron. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron combines speed, action and humorous one-liners in Marvel’s latest film, with at least two further instalments expected. Sequels Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 are scheduled for release over the next 3-4 years.
