Changing from his Ford, now driving a VT Commodore for Team selby.com.au, Simon Tabinor has also changed class from the Australian V8 Touring Car Series, now driving in the Australian Super Six Touring Car Series. Simon’s next races are coming up this weekend with practice starting today, race one tomorrow Saturday 18th and races two and three on Sunday 19th October at Wakefield Park Raceway.

Phillip Island Results:
Race One: Finished 5th with a time of 14 minutes 58.38 seconds (44 points)
Race Two: Finished 6th with a time of 15 minutes 00.33 seconds (40 points)
Race Three: Finished 9th with a time of 11 minutes 20.13 seconds (32 points)
Simon's overall result for the meet was 5th place with 116 points

Located near Goulburn, between Canberra and Sydney Wakefield Park is a 2.2km motor racing circuit, named after the founder of Castrol Oil, Charles Cheers Wakefield. Below is an aerial view of the track.
