You will need to run Cat5e/Cat 6 leads between the two rooms. This acts as the conduit for the signals to travel between rooms. For a neat finish we suggest using wallplates. Resi-Linx is one of

Then it's a simple job of connecting a transmitter RLBV140A (for the picture and audio) and IR emitter A1141SA at the Foxtel end and a receiver RLBV150B and IR target RLBV500 at the TV end.
