Cate Blanchett won her second Oscar for her acclaimed role in Woody Allen’s “Blue Jasmine”. Blanchett plays troubled New York socialite Jasmine who, used to living the high life has imposed herself on her sister in San Francisco after her life starts to unravel. There is sure to be a renewed interest for those who haven’t seen it yet. It is still showing in a limited few cinemas around the country.
