AV Switches & Splitters
Switches and splitters are helpful tools for dealing with a complex electronic system. They allow you to compress multiple signals, or stretch out a single signal. Switches take multiple inputs and turn them into a single output. This is useful for connecting a variety of sources like bluray players and gaming consoles to a single display. Most switches feature a remote control to allow you to choose between inputs easily. A splitter does the opposite; it allows one input to be sent to multiple outputs. This allows you to send one source signal to multiple displays simultaneously, including projectors. A variety of connection types are available for both switches and splitters, including TV antenna, HDMI, RCA, coaxial toslink, and VGA. Some models feature a combination of connection types, to allow for different cable type inputs or outputs.
